
Membership and Licences
All drivers are expected to take out an annual CAMS Drivers Licence and Annual NAMSC Membership
(NOTE: 1 x Level 1 day-licence and 1 x day-membership will be allowed for first time drivers only)
CAMS DRIVERS LICENCE
- Level 1- for a single event only and for use at only one event per year.
- Level 2 - the basic club level motor sport licence. There are two types of Level 2 licence - Non Speed (L2NS) and Speed (L2S).A L2NS licence entitles the competitor to compete in events such as motorkhanas and drifting events, up to International level. A L2S licence entitles the holder to compete in L2NS events plus regularity trials up to National Championship level, single and multi-car speed events (not racing) up to International level. L2S licences are the most popular CAMS licence to hold.
- Clubman Circuit Level- CC - CAMS have a range of clubman level licences focused at those who wish to compete in a particular discipline upto and including state level event status.

National Circuit Level - NC - National licences are discipline specific - Race, Speed, Rally / Road, Off Road & Auto Test. Each type has individual requirements specific to each discipline’s licence. Holding a licence at national level in one discipline does not entitle to you compete in another discipline. It is the DRIVERS responsibility to ensure their CAMS Licence is current, if your licence is not current, you will not be allowed to race.
ALL Drivers MUST have their Entry Form and fee to the Race Secretary by the closing date as indicated on the Entry Form and Regulations for that meet. There will be NO exceptions

- CC=Commodore Cup; IPC=Improved Production Car; HQ= Holden HQ; LS=Lapsprint; DR=Drift; MK= Motorkhana
For CAMS Log Booked Cars, the 'Category Entered' must be recorded as per classification.
Classifications - Touring Cars
- Group 3D: Sports Sedans; Commodore Cup
- Group 3E: Series Production Cars; Road Registered Cars
- Group 3H: HQ Holden
- Group 3J: Improved Production Cars
- Group 3K: Saloon Cars
PAYMENT when paying by Direct Debit/BPay:
Enter your classification and car race number in the comment ….eg, 3H-HQ 73 , or 3D-CC 26, 3J-IPC 21, LS 10 etc. to make it easy to identify your payment.

PROCEDURES FOR ENTERING NAMSC RACE MEETS
The format for a race meet is:
BEFORE RACE MEET
1. Log onto NAMSC Site - 'Course Events', download Regulations and Entry Form
2. Read Regulations
3. Complete Entry Form
4. Pay by either Bpay or Direct Debit the Entry Fee
5. Then, fax the completed entry forms and your funds transfer receipt to (08) 8947-0422, or e-mail them to entries@namsc.org.au
SATURDAY (Note: Entries will not be accepted on Saturday or Sunday)
1. Proceed to Scrutineering Pit Bay with your Car, Attire and Helmet, CAMS Licence, NAMSC Membership Card and Car Log Book if applicable.
2. Obtain Scrutineering Form and when it is your turn to be scrutineered hand paperwork to Chief Scrutineer.
3. You will be allocated a half pit bay, which is your responsibility for upkeep, maintenance and clean.
SUNDAY
1. Attend Scrutineering to sign on for drivers and pit crew arm bands. If a fun day all passengers must also sign on.
2. Attend Drivers briefing at the Control Tower at nominated time, drivers sign on. When it is time to go onto the track, make your way along pit lane ( 40km speed limit) to the form-up grid behind the Control Tower.
3. When directed, and the track is clear you will be released onto the track from Pit Exit.
4. If you are a race category, proceed to the starting grid, if you are a non race categorg, your session starts now …. DO NOT STOP at the Start Line.
5. At completion of the session, you will be shown the Checquered Flag from the Starters Box. Make your way around the track and enter Pit lane to your Pit Gararge.
6. When it is your session again, make your way via Pit Lane to the From-Up Grid as above.
PIT BAY RULES
The Pit Bay you have been allocated is your responsibility for the time you are using it. When you leave, please make sure you turn the lights off; clean all oil spills; clear all rubbish out and place in the wheely bin provided. Close and lock both roller doors, and close and lock the wooden door.
It is also your responsibility to take the wheely bin to the Dumpmaster Bin and empty it. This is located nest to the NAMSC Club House.
If the Pit Bay is left with rubbish or oil spills and your bin has not been emptied, a cleaning fee of $50.00 will be invoiced to the Pit Bay Holder.
